Adventure Trips (Ages 14 - 17)
Trips are designed to meet the needs of older campers looking for
adventure beyond the traditional camp program.
Each group is led by specially trained staff. Trips start at camp for
skill building and planning then take to the trails.
Adventure trippers learn minimum impact camping and outdoor living skills
specific to each trip while enjoying the rustic beauty New England
provides as the backdrop.

Forestry Patrol (Ages 14 - 18)
Designed for those interested in joining a unique service opportunity in
the camping tradition of Pleasant Valley.
The program is a two, four, six or eight week commitment which gives young
women
a chance to work on a wide variety of service projects in camp and the
local community.
Examples include trail maintenance, bridge building, forest management and
simple camp improvement projects.
When the young women are not involved in these projects, they are taking
advantage of our extensive tripping program. Each forestry patrol will go
on at least one extended canoe trip during their stay and have the
privilege of living in their own tent based village.
